Customizing your Affiliate link

Your affiliate link is long, unattractive, and hard to remember. Here are easy ways to clean it up so it works on business cards, flyers, emails, and ads.

One option is a free/cheap link shortener like bit.ly or tinyurl.com — but in our opinion those are still unattractive and don't convey a message.

The best solution is to get your own domain (around $8/yr at a registrar like GoDaddy) and use it to redirect your affiliate link:

  1. Register a domain that sends a message in the link itself, e.g. www.YourOwnDomainName.com or www.TheBestRealEstateMarketTimingSystem.com.
  2. Copy and paste your affiliate link into the registrar's 'forwarding' tool. Do NOT use 'Masking' — masking will not record your leads.
  3. Once your redirect is set, you're ready to promote your link.
